This is a rare opportunity for a seasoned indirect procurement professional to step into a visible country-level role responsible for shaping the way procurement delivers value in Morocco. You'll work closely with senior leadership, drive strategic initiatives, and strengthen procurement's reputation as a trusted business partner across the organisation.
This role is not "business as usual" - it's for someone who thrives in transformation, influence, and building credibility. You'll have the backing of regional and global procurement leadership while being empowered to define policy, processes, governance, and stakeholder engagement in the country.
What You'll Be Doing:- Acting as the primary procurement leader for Morocco, working across key indirect spend categories including IT, Telecoms, External Workforce / Subcontractors, Professional Services, Facilities Management, and Project-Based Services
. - Partnering closely with CEO, CFO, COO and other senior stakeholders to embed procurement best practices and drive measurable value.
- Leading a small but senior team of buyers (2x), coaching them to deliver operational excellence and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Driving strategic sourcing initiatives
, supplier management, and demand optimisation, ensuring procurement opportunities are realised. - Contributing to early-stage project bids and critical initiatives
, ensuring procurement input maximises value and mitigates risk.
- Extensive experience in indirect procurement (
IT, Subcontractors, Facilities, Professional Services, External Resources
) - experience in automotive or direct materials is not suitable
. - Proven track record in large or international organisations
, able to navigate complex matrices and multiple stakeholders effectively. - A transformational mindset - comfortable challenging the status quo and influencing senior leaders.
- Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills at a senior leadership level.
- Fluent in English
, with Arabic and French highly desirable. - Experience with multi-category procurement strategy, governance, and budget management
