About the Company
We are a $3.9M professional services firm with 17–20 employees seeking a Director of Operations to bring structure, accountability, and operational clarity to our growing organization.
About the RoleThis role is the integrator of the firm — responsible for translating leadership’s vision into disciplined execution. You will own workflow management, KPI reporting, ERP optimization, and accountability systems so the partners can focus on growth and strategy. If you thrive in environments where you can bring order to complexity, implement systems, and hold high performers accountable — this is your seat.
Responsibilities- Own and manage firm-wide workflow tracking to ensure deadlines and deliverables are executed without partner follow‑up
- Drive accountability across all staff for task completion, time entry, and ERP compliance
- Oversee and optimize Practice ERP (Net Suite‑based system) adoption and reporting accuracy
- Develop and maintain KPI dashboards to evaluate performance at individual and firm levels
- Implement best practices, policies, and operational procedures
- Champion digital tools and technology improvements to increase efficiency and client experience
- Reduce organizational “noise” and drive proactive planning vs. reactive execution
- Build scalable systems that enable growth without operational friction
- Potentially champion EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) implementation
- Proven experience leading operations in a professional services, accounting, consulting, or similar environment preferred
- Strong systems thinker — able to build processes, dashboards, and accountability structures
- Experience with ERP systems (Net Suite or similar)
- Comfortable holding high‑tenure team members accountable in a respectful but firm manner
- High emotional intelligence with the ability to integrate into a tight‑knit culture
- Bias toward execution, structure, and measurable outcomes
- Military leadership experience (Officer or Senior NCO) strongly valued but not required
- Deadlines met without partner intervention
- 100% ERP adoption and real‑time time entry compliance
- Clear KPI dashboards driving performance conversations
- Increased proactive planning across engagements
- Reduced internal friction and complaint‑based noise
- Scalable operational foundation to support firm growth
- $120,000–$140,000 Base Salary
- Performance‑Based Bonus tied to operational KPIs
- Long‑term growth opportunity within a stable, growing firm
- Direct partnership exposure and strategic influence
We are committed to diversity and inclusivity in our hiring practices.
