Job Summary
The LV Tech group seeks an Associate to support and execute the group’s strategy—direct equity investments, fund‑of‑funds investments, and value pull‑through—by assisting in data analytics, opportunity triage and analysis, reporting requirements, and process optimization. The Associate is expected to be a creative problem solver with exceptional organizational skills who supports achievement of the group’s goals while seeking ways to optimize the process.
Key Responsibilities- Data analysis: executes scheduled and ad‑hoc data analysis related to LV Tech’s portfolio and areas of interest; uses internal and external databases to produce executive‑ready reports; quickly collects relevant data to answer executive or external questions in a timely manner; assists in analysis of potential investments, including P&L modeling and cap table construction.
- Market research: conducts research and analysis on areas of potential interest; analyzes industry trends and competitor activities; works across the team to gather quantitative and qualitative inputs.
- Reporting: leads quarterly reporting efforts for the Tech portfolio; manages fund financial performance, as well as portfolio company financial performance.
- Fund management and operations: owns internal record keeping; ensures appropriate documentation storage; supports business operations for deal discussions; manages conference preparation and coordination.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 3+ years of relevant industry experience, including experience in data analytics, project management, operations, consulting or investing in life sciences or life‑science tools and software.

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is $63,000 - $149,600. Full‑time equivalent employees will also be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
