Catering Sales Manager
Conrad Indianapolis is looking for a Catering Sales Manager to join the Catering and Events Team. This role focuses on local corporate, association, wedding, galas, and social events, involving both selling and servicing responsibilities.
Responsibilities- Grow catering market segments: solicit new client relationships, develop proposals, and negotiate contracts to close new business.
- Cultivate client relationships: maintain strong connections with existing corporate and social accounts to secure repeat business.
- Create exceptional experiences: design creative menus and catered events that maximize revenue and elevate the guest experience.
- Oversee event coordination: manage event documentation, facilitate seamless transitions throughout pre-event, event, and post-event phases of events, serve as the primary client contact to ensure smooth execution, proactive issue resolution, and an exceptional event experience.
- Guide team performance: communicate client requirements, provide direction, and offer feedback and coaching to ensure consistent, high-level service.
- Minimum of two years of experience in sales and event service.
- Strong understanding of event operations and proven sales skills.
- Wedding experience is required.
