Job Title
Forecast & Analysis Consultant
Location & Work ModelHybrid, in-office 1–2 days per week with flexibility to work remotely. Alternate locations may be considered if within reasonable commuting distance. Candidates not within commuting distance may be considered only with a lawful accommodation.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain 6–36 month demand and workforce forecasts for FEP operations.
- Partner with Workforce Management (WFM), Operations, Comprehensive Health Management, and Data & Reporting Analytics teams to provide forward‑looking insights for proactive staffing, budgeting, and capacity planning.
- Build predictive and scenario‑based models to assess demand variability and risk.
- Monitor forecast accuracy and continuously refine models using variance analysis.
- Translate volume forecasts into headcount, FTE, and skill‑mix requirements.
- Align long‑range forecasts with short‑term scheduling and intraday management in collaboration with WFM.
- Support hiring, backfill, cross‑training, and redeployment strategies.
- Assure quality and integrity of data collected and insights shared with the business.
- Provide expertise to lower‑level consultants on the analysis of business needs to determine optimal solutions.
- Provide data‑driven insights to inform strategic initiatives, growth planning, and operational changes.
- Quantify workforce impacts of new programs, regulatory changes, or benefit design shifts.
- Manage ROI analysis of initiatives impacting workflow and productivity.
- Present forecasts, assumptions, and risks to operational and executive leadership.
- Create executive‑level summaries and consult on dashboard development.
- Serve as liaison for the FEP WFM forecast processes and annual operating plan.
- Ensure forecasting methodologies align with business targets and corporate objectives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible experience in data collection, analysis, and reporting, or equivalent education and experience.
- Experience with Workforce Management tools (e.g., NICE, Verint, Aspect).
- Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).
- SQL, Python, or R skills.
- Knowledge of the health care industry.
