Senior Product Manager - Pharma​/Health

Rate:
Targeting $135/hour or less, with flexibility for the right candidate

Travel:
Onsite 1 day/week initially (Tuesday-Thursday)

We’re seeking an experienced Product Manager / Product Owner to lead a high‑visibility employer benefits program for a life sciences client. This role will own product strategy, stakeholder alignment, and business outcomes across multiple work streams. The ideal candidate brings strong healthcare or pharmaceutical experience, commercial acumen, and the ability to turn business priorities into a clear, actionable roadmap.

• Own the product vision, roadmap, and priorities for the employer benefits program
• Align stakeholders across business, product, and delivery teams to drive shared outcomes
• Manage cross‑workstream dependencies, risks, and execution priorities
• Define success metrics and ensure teams stay focused on business value and ROI
• Oversee financial performance, including forecasting, scope management, and margin protection
• Prepare executive updates and support decision‑making at leadership level
• Identify growth opportunities and contribute to account expansion

• 10+ years of product or program leadership experience
• 5+ years managing large, complex programs with significant budget ownership
• Strong experience with roadmap development, backlog prioritization, and stakeholder management
• Proven commercial and P&L management experience
• Background in healthcare, pharma, life sciences, or employer benefits programs
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across executive and delivery teams
• Comfortable working onsite in Indianapolis on a regular basis

• Life sciences or pharmaceutical industry experience
• Advanced degree or equivalent practical experience
• Agile, CSM, or PMP certification

• Must pass a 10‑panel drug test
• Must sign a client NDA
• Must complete pre‑boarding HIPAA training
