Business Consultant Sr – Data Mining Overpayment and Operations/Payment Integrity – WGS Claims

Location:

Indianapolis, IN (Hybrid – 1‑2 days in‑office per week).

Shift: Monday – Friday, daytime hours.

• Lead a team of analysts and consultants.
• Translate complex business needs into business cases or business requirement documents (BRDs).
• Develop machine learning models or data‑mining queries that support cost‑of‑care savings.
• Provide expertise to lower‑level consultants on need analysis.
• Determine business application software requirements for highly complex initiatives.
• Analyze and design solutions for varied and highly complex business problems.
• Partner with data scientists, query developers, and business owners during machine‑learning model execution.
• Manage and prioritize work assignments based on business needs.
• Travel to worksites and other locations as necessary.

• BA/BS degree.
• Minimum 10 years of business analysis experience, including project management.
• Experience with mainframe systems, hardware, and operating systems.
• Minimum 3 years as a Business Consultant with project‑management skills.

• Machine‑learning understanding and experience.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a research‑oriented approach.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, formulas, V‑lookup, etc.).
• Strategic thinking and collaboration skills.
• Claims processing skills.
