Responsibilities
- Review, prioritize and direct the daily work activities of the operations group during their assigned shift.
- Supervise, monitor, train, and develop performance of plant personnel to ensure safe, efficient and productive operation of plant and equipment.
- Enforce safety procedures and policies for the Operations Department and other support teams.
- Initiate emergency response procedures as needed to ensure safety and compliance in unexpected situations.
- Actively oversee facility production and maintenance activities, supporting the planning and execution of both scheduled and unscheduled outages while ensuring the timely completion of operational tasks.
- Assist in identifying and recommending improvements to enhance plant operations and efficiency.
- Collaborate with representatives from various departments to address and resolve operational, administrative, organizational, and technical challenges.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must hold or obtain an ASME Provisional License.
- Must pass Site‑Specific Operator’s License within 6 months of employment.
- Minimum of 5+ years of hands‑on experience and/or supervisory oversight of power plant machinery.
- Ability to work flexible shifts as needed to ensure continuous staffing of the facility 24/7, year‑round.
- Comprehensive knowledge of steam‑generating power stations, including operation of instrument and control systems.
- Well‑developed troubleshooting skills for equipment and systems, along with expertise in training personnel and interpreting diagrams.
- Excellent communication, leadership, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
- Experience with Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and Continuous Emissions Monitoring (CEM) equipment.
- Ability to walk, stand, sit and climb.
- Ability to lift/carry 50 lbs.
- Ability to work from heights and in confined spaces.
- Qualify to wear a full‑face respirator.
- Consistently work in various weather conditions.

CompensationThe salary range for this position is $99,000.00 - $ USD per annum, based on the primary posting location. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
