Customer Service & Sales Support

Vaco has partnered with a manufacturing and distribution company on the north west side of Indianapolis to hire a Customer Service & Sales Support Specialist. We are looking for a dependable, customer-focused team member who enjoys variety, works well with others, and is willing to learn.

Schedule: Mon - Fri, 8am-5pm

Salary: $50,000-$55,000 + annual bonus

Location: 100% onsite at northwest side Indy office

• Provide outstanding customer service via phone and email.
• Prepare customer quotations and process sales orders.
• Coordinate customer shipments, freight, and shipping documentation.
• Maintain customer and order information in our ERP system.
• Assist with inventory transactions, purchasing support, and operational documentation.
• Work closely with Sales, Warehouse, and Operations to ensure orders are shipped accurately and on time.
• Support other departments as needed, including providing backup coverage during vacations and absences.
• Help identify opportunities to improve processes and customer satisfaction.

• Previous customer service, order processing, logistics, or administrative experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office and business software (ERP experience is a plus).
• Positive attitude, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.

With that said, the individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
