Based in Indianapolis, IN, this role supports projects from schematic design through transition to construction, with a focus on estimating, budgeting, bidding, and design coordination. You’ll work alongside experienced preconstruction leaders and gain exposure to the full lifecycle of multifamily development.

This is not a passive or observational role—you’ll actively contribute while building a strong foundation in preconstruction and estimating.

• Assist with cost estimating, quantity takeoffs, and bid preparation for multifamily construction projects
• Support budget development, feasibility studies, and early project planning
• Coordinate with Preconstruction Managers, architects, engineers, and internal stakeholders
• Help manage the bidding and subcontractor evaluation process
• Support the handoff from preconstruction to construction, ensuring projects are set up for success
• Apply construction knowledge and best practices to support accurate, thoughtful decision‑making
• Contribute as a proactive, collaborative team member in a fast‑paced environment

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field

• 0–3 years of experience in construction, preconstruction, estimating, internships, or co‑op roles
• Recent graduates are encouraged to apply
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
• Interest in preconstruction, estimating, and early project planning
• Comfortable working with numbers, details, and multiple stakeholders
• Curious, motivated, and eager to learn—you’re open to training the right candidate
