We are seeking an experienced Multifamily Superintendent to oversee ground-up multifamily construction projects from sitework through project completion. The Superintendent will be responsible for managing daily field operations, maintaining project schedules, coordinating subcontractors, enforcing safety standards, and ensuring high‑quality execution throughout all phases of construction.
This role requires a strong field leader who can drive schedules, solve problems proactively, and maintain effective communication with project teams, ownership groups, and trade partners.
Responsibilities- Oversee all onsite construction activities for multifamily projects
- Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel
- Develop and maintain project schedules and short‑interval planning
- Coordinate inspections and ensure code compliance
- Lead site safety efforts and maintain OSHA compliance
- Conduct daily subcontractor coordination meetings
- Ensure quality control and workmanship standards are met
- Collaborate with Project Managers on budgeting, procurement, and scheduling
- Maintain project documentation including daily reports and progress tracking
- Identify and resolve field issues proactively to minimize delays
- Drive project completion while maintaining schedule and budget goals
- 5+ years of Superintendent experience in multifamily construction
- Experience with ground‑up podium, wrap, garden‑style, or high‑density multifamily projects
- Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, scheduling, and building systems
- Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and fast‑paced schedules
- Proficient with construction management software and reporting tools
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- OSHA 30 preferred
- Stable work history with successful project delivery experience
- Wood‑frame multifamily over podium construction
- Occupied renovations or phased turnover experience
- Experience managing projects ranging from $20M–$100M+
