Job Description

As a Construction Laborer / Helper, you will play a vital role in the company's success, working on construction projects performing general labor tasks such as demolition, loading/unloading, digging, and clean-up. We are seeking hardworking and motivated individuals who enjoy hands‑on work and take pride in seeing tangible results from their efforts.

Responsibilities
  • Assist skilled carpenters and superintendents in various construction tasks.
  • Load and unload construction materials, and transfer them to appropriate locations on site.
  • Operate hand and power tools of all types.
  • Demonstrate mechanical ability.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in basic mathematics.
  • Clean and prepare construction sites by removing debris and possible hazards.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations and maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  • Perform physical labor as directed by the site supervisor.
  • Work efficiently and effectively.
  • Possess strong customer service and a great attitude.
  • Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in residential or commercial construction is preferred but not required; a willingness to learn and a strong work ethic are essential.
  • Must have a valid driver's license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects, standing for long periods, and working in various weather conditions.
  • Basic understanding of construction principles and procedures.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work within a team environment.
