Role: Assistant Superintendent – Multifamily
Location: Indianapolis, IN, US
Job InformationExperience: Mid Level
Salary: $90,000 - $105,000 per year
Job Responsibilities- Support Superintendent in daily on‑site construction operations
- Coordinate subcontractors and monitor work for quality and compliance
- Assist with project scheduling and sequencing of trades
- Enforce jobsite safety standards and participate in safety meetings
- Track daily progress and maintain accurate field reports
- Review drawings, specifications, and submittals for field execution
- Assist with inspections and ensure work meets project requirements
- Coordinate material deliveries and site logistics
- Communicate effectively with project team, subcontractors, and vendors
- Identify and help resolve field issues and conflicts
- Maintain jobsite organization, cleanliness, and efficiency
- Support punch list completion and project closeout activities
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field
- Experience supporting ground‑up construction projects
- Familiarity with multifamily or mixed‑use construction
- Working knowledge of construction drawings and specifications
- Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office
- Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, field‑driven environment
