We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team in Indianapolis, IN. The ideal candidate will have a strong background managing commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
Big Box Retail experience is highly preferred
, particularly candidates with experience managing large-scale retail projects in an active field environment.
- Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through final closeout.
- Develop, maintain, and update project schedules, budgets, cost forecasts, and project plans.
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, consultants, owners, and other project stakeholders.
- Review construction plans, specifications, contracts, scopes of work, and project documentation.
- Monitor project progress, quality, safety, schedule, and financial performance.
- Lead project meetings and maintain consistent communication with owners, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, pay applications, purchase orders, and closeout documentation.
- Identify potential project risks and develop solutions to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
- Track project costs, commitments, changes, and overall financial performance.
- Support preconstruction activities, estimating, bidding, subcontractor procurement, and project turnover.
- Ensure projects are completed in accordance with contract requirements, quality standards, and client expectations.
- 5+ years of construction project management experience.
- Experience managing commercial construction projects.
- Big Box Retail or retail construction experience highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of construction scheduling, budgeting, contracts, cost control, and project administration.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
- Experience coordinating subcontractors, vendors, owners, and project stakeholders.
