The role of the Laborer/Fuse Technician is to assist superintendents and foremen in a variety of positions, including but not limited to: HDPE fusion, building pumps, grade checking, haul truck driving, cleaning machines, and overall site dress‑and‑up.

• $17.00–$30.00 per hour pending experience/qualifications

• Travel for extended periods of time – 4 weeks on, 1 week off; living in hotels and traveling between states 100% of the time.
• Walk long distances, up and down steeply sloped landfills and outdoor terrain.
• Perform heavy, manual work and lift a minimum of fifty (50) pounds on a non‑consistent basis.
• Work safely in extreme (hot and cold) weather conditions, including on very odorous project sites.
• Clean work areas, clean and fuel vehicles and equipment as necessary.
• Available to work overtime and weekends if necessary.
• Assist site supervisors with materials and equipment needs and help collect supplies for projects.

• Comfortable working near and around heavy equipment
• HDPE fusion experience
• Forklift operating experience
• Skid steer operating experience
• Landfill gas experience
• Comfortable driving trucks and trailers
• Overall general construction experience
• Landfill construction experience
• Oil and gas pipeline experience
• Grade checking
• Perform system construction activities safely and properly.
• Fuse HDPE pipe ranging from 2"–36"
