Swift Air Mechanical is looking to add an experienced Regional Safety Manager to our growing team!
The Regional Safety Manageris responsible for overseeing and ensuring the safetyof individuals working on residential and commercial construction projects across a specific geographic region.
This role involves implementing and enforcing safety programs, conducting audits and inspections, providing training, and ensuring compliance with State and Federal regulations.
This position reports to the Corporate Safety Officer.
Compliance.
- Conduct new hire orientation for assigned operating company.
- FacilitateproperPPE through procurement and distribution to employees.
- Ensure training is up to date and relevant to employee's jobby assigning required training through Vector LMS.
- Conduct annual audit of SDS for assigned locations.
- Develop and review JSA for high hazard job sites.
- Identify and implement recommendations to remediate all unsafe actions and unsafe conditions on active job sites and warehouse settings.
Utilize job matrix data to setprioritylist. - Conduct weekly job site and warehouse audits.
- Attend and document all OSHA job site visits.
- Enforce safety discipline policy and close out corrective actions issued.
- Investigate all incidents anddeterminethe rootcause.
- Document all incidents, inspections, observations in Vector EHS system.
- Implement corrective actions to prevent future accidents.
- Develop andmaintainemployee injury documentation.
- Document all medical treatments and recovery plans.
- Develop and implement return to work plans.
- Oversee training and evaluations for all specialist programs such as hearing conservation, lead, respiratory, competent person.
- Develop, organize, and implement location emergency response program.

- Bachelor’s degree in environmental health and safety or another related field.
- 3-5 years of relevant safety work experience in a similar role.
- First Aid / CPR / AED and BBP certifications required or ability to obtain in first 30 days.
- OSHA 30 required.
- OSHA 500 and OSHA 510 preferred.
- Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) preferred, or the ability to obtain within the first year of employment.
- NFPA 70E required.
- Previous experience and comfort working in the construction/building industry.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of general safety guidelines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook, and general software navigation.
- Solid leadership qualities and the desire to inspire and lead others.
- Excellent training development and facilitation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to customer locations.
This is a full-time hybrid position with occasional travel, based out of Indianapolis, Indiana, Monday to Friday. We offer a competitive salary with a full benefit package.
