Job Description & How to Apply Below

We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to join our Operations team and provide field leadership on our commercial construction projects.

This position is designed for a proven construction leader who can take ownership of a jobsite from start to finish. The Superintendent will manage day-to-day field operations, direct crews and subcontractors, coordinate workforce and resources, and ensure the project consistently meets expectations for safety, quality, schedule, communication, and execution.

This is a hands-on leadership position for someone comfortable being in the field, solving problems, developing their crew, and working closely with Operations and Project Management to keep the project moving forward.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who has spent enough time in construction to recognize problems before they become emergencies.

You know how to run a project from the ground up. You're comfortable walking onto a challenging jobsite, quickly understanding what is happening, developing a plan, and leading the team to execute it.

You understand that leadership means setting expectations, communicating clearly, holding people accountable, and being willing to help solve problems when the field needs support.

Most importantly, you take pride not only in the projects you build, but in the crew and subcontractors you lead along the way.

If you're an experienced commercial construction Superintendent ready to lead your own jobsite, we'd like to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities Field Leadership & Operations
  • Provide field leadership and day-to-day operational oversight of your assigned commercial construction project.
  • Plan and execute daily and weekly field operations to keep the project on schedule.
  • Maintain a consistent, visible presence on the jobsite to monitor progress, workforce, safety, quality, and coordination.
  • Identify potential schedule, workforce, material, coordination, and production issues before they significantly impact the project.
  • Develop recovery plans when the project falls behind schedule or encounters operational challenges.
  • Coordinate field workforce and resources based on the project schedule, priorities, and production requirements.
  • Plan upcoming work proactively rather than reacting to immediate jobsite conditions.
  • Escalate significant field issues to Operations or Project Management when additional support is needed.
Project Planning & Execution
  • Review project schedules, look-ahead schedules, workforce requirements, and upcoming milestones.
  • Establish realistic production plans and priorities for the project.
  • Verify that required workforce, materials, equipment, information, and subcontractor coordination are addressed before work is scheduled to begin.
  • Monitor project progress and help identify risks that could affect schedule or production.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers and Operations leadership to resolve field-related issues.
  • Plan workforce needs and crew transitions as project phases and scope change.
  • Ensure field teams understand project scope, sequencing, expectations, and upcoming deadlines.
Quality & Safety
  • Promote a strong culture of safety, quality, and accountability on the jobsite.
  • Identify and correct quality issues before they become larger problems.
  • Lead project-specific quality control processes, inspections, punch activities, and closeout.
  • Reinforce company safety policies and jobsite requirements.
  • Address recurring field deficiencies and establish corrective actions.
  • Lead by example in maintaining a professional, organized, and safe jobsite.
Communication & Documentation
  • Maintain clear communication with Project Management, Operations, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
  • Maintain timely and accurate field documentation.
  • Ensure significant conversations, directives, delays, coordination issues, and changes affecting the project are properly documented and communicated.
  • Participate in project meetings and internal Operations meetings as needed.
  • Escalate significant project risks or concerns to Operations leadership early enough for corrective action.
  • Help eliminate communication gaps between the field and office.
Qualifications
  • Experience managing commercial construction projects in a Superintendent or comparable field leadership position.
  • Demonstrated experience leading field crews, subcontractors, and other construction professionals.
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, schedules, sequencing, and field coordination.
  • Ability to evaluate project conditions and…
