** Safety Leadership & Strategy*
* · Develop, implement, and continuously improve the company's overall safety and health program.
· Establish company-wide safety standards, expectations, policies, and procedures.
· Partner with executive and operational leadership to integrate safety into project planning and execution.
· Provide safety leadership and guidance to project managers, superintendents, foremen, and field teams.
· Establish measurable safety goals and track performance across projects and business units.
· Build accountability for safety performance at every level of the organization.
· Promote a proactive safety culture focused on prevention, employee engagement, and continuous improvement.
** Construction Safety & Field Operations*
* · Provide safety oversight across active construction projects and company facilities.
· Conduct regular jobsite visits, audits, inspections, and safety observations.
· Evaluate project-specific hazards and ensure appropriate controls are established before work begins.
· Partner with field leadership on job hazard analyses, pre-task planning, site-specific safety plans, and corrective actions.
· Ensure subcontractors and employees comply with company, client, and project safety requirements.
· Support safety planning for high-risk construction activities.
· Identify trends and recurring hazards and work with operations to eliminate or reduce exposure.
** Compliance & Risk Management*

** OSHA and applicable federal, state, local, client, and company safety requirements**.
· Maintain required safety programs, documentation, recordkeeping, and regulatory reporting.
· Monitor regulatory developments and update company practices as requirements change.
· Maintain OSHA logs and other required safety records.
· Coordinate regulatory inspections and responses as necessary.
· Partner with leadership, HR, insurance, risk management, and legal resources on significant safety matters.
** Incident Management & Prevention*
* · Lead or oversee investigations involving injuries, near misses, property damage, and other safety incidents.
· Ensure investigations identify root causes rather than simply documenting the event.
· Develop and track corrective and preventive actions through completion.
· Analyze incident trends, leading indicators, and safety data to identify opportunities for improvement.
· Communicate significant safety risks and incidents to executive leadership promptly.
· Support return-to-work and workers' compensation processes in coordination with HR and applicable partners.
** Training & Employee Development*
* · Develop and maintain safety training programs for employees and field leadership.
· Ensure employees receive required OSHA, company, client, and task-specific safety training.
· Support new-hire safety orientation and project-specific onboarding.
· Coach superintendents, foremen, project managers, and other leaders on their responsibilities for safety performance.
· Identify opportunities to strengthen field leadership's ability to recognize hazards and intervene before incidents occur.
** Safety Systems & Performance*
* · Establish meaningful leading and lagging safety indicators.
· Monitor incident rates, observations, inspections, corrective actions, training completion, and other safety metrics.
· Provide leadership with clear reporting on safety performance, emerging risks, and improvement priorities.
· Maintain safety management systems, documentation, and records.
