AboutOur Motion Graphics Designer Role
The Motion Graphics Designer brings Audiochuck’s videos, stories, and campaigns to life through dynamic and visually engaging motion graphics. This role collaborates with producers, reporters, editors, audience‑growth marketers, and production teams to design and execute motion graphic assets for video, digital, and social platforms that align with Audiochuck’s creative tone and brand standards. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for visual storytelling, a passion for motion design, and the ability to turn complex ideas into compelling visuals.
WhatYou’ll Do Creative Design & Animation
- Design and animate high‑quality motion graphics for video, social media, and digital campaigns.
- Create templates for use by craft video editors and social producers.
- Develop visual treatments, storyboards, and style frames for projects.
- Ensure all assets align with brand identity, tone, and technical requirements.
- Partner with producers, reporters, editors, and marketing leads to conceptualize and execute creative assets.
- Adapt and repurpose existing designs into motion deliverables for various formats.
- Provide creative input on visual storytelling, pacing, and design direction.
- Organize and maintain motion templates, assets, and project files.
- Stay current with motion design trends, plug‑ins, and production techniques.
- Assist with video editing or compositing when needed to support production deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Motion Design, Graphic Design, or a related field preferred.
- 3–5 years of experience in motion graphics or animation, preferably within media, entertainment, or digital storytelling.
- Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- Experience working with Google Earth Studio.
- Strong understanding of animation principles, typography, and design composition.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in various states of production and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Preferred:
Experience creating motion assets for video podcasts, streaming television, and/or social platforms.
