A company is looking for a Director of Editorial, Design, and Production (REMOTE).
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the editorial, design, and production teams to enhance operational excellence and workflow efficiencies Optimize workflows and quality standards across manuscript editing, typesetting, and design processes Collaborate with acquisitions, marketing, and external partners to improve communication and production schedules
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and 7-10 years of experience in scholarly or trade publishing Demonstrated leadership and management experience Deep understanding of editorial standards and production processes Familiarity with Digital Asset Management and industry tools like InDesign and Acrobat Experience in budgeting and resource planning
