About the roleWe are looking for an experienced and multi‑talented fully onsite Senior Artist with the ability to conceive, create and be a key part of the team in creating innovative experiences via artistic visuals for AAA titles. Proven experience in generating a diverse range of styles, technical expertise with current‑gen technology and/or illustration skills are a benefit.
Responsibilities- At least 4+ years of experience in console development with at least 2 shipped titles.
- Effective visual and verbal communication skills when directing internal or external teams or individuals.
- Excellent resource management and judgement.
- Comfortable liaising with and presenting to clients in an authoritative and professional manner.
- Self‑motivated, friendly, gregarious with attention to detail and a passion for delivering the best possible game experience.
- Excellent at managing deadlines and budgets, with excellent time management skills.
- Experience developing and implementing solid art production pathways.
- The ability to find creative solutions when troubleshooting and assessing risks.
- A good understanding of cutting‑edge artistic techniques and tools and the ability to implement them into current practical practices.
- Creative and self‑motivated
- Strong and versatile modeling skills
- Experience using Maya
- Experience using Unreal
- Experience using Substance
- Experience using ZBrush; extremely quality oriented
- Some experience setting up LODs
- Strong verbal, written and visual communication skills
- Experience mentoring junior team members
- Experience dealing with art outsourcing
- At least a graduate level artistic education
- Strong portfolio including realistic modeling and environment examples
- Good environment lighting skills
- A keen eye for scene composition
- Experience on mobile projects is also of interest
- Successfully worked with iterative development and rapid gameplay prototyping
