Lead AI Product Designer

We are seeking an experienced Lead Product Designer to join our R&D team. This is a hybrid product design and visual role requiring a rare blend of strong product thinking and exceptional visual craft. You will own the end-to-end design process: from research and ideation through to high-fidelity production, motion, and delivery.

You thrive in ambiguous environments, love using tools like Claude, and are comfortable "vibe-coding" your design system when Figma isn't enough. You will also help mentor junior designers and shape our remote design culture.

• End-to-End Product Design: Own the complete product lifecycle from deep user research, wire framing, and user flows to high-fidelity prototypes and final UI implementation.
• Conversational & AI Interface Design: Design and refine AI-driven workflows (both conversational and non-conversational AI experiences). Establish frameworks for responsible AI design, defining prompts, system responses, confidence indicators, fallback states, and guardrails.
• Visual Craft & Motion: Bring an exceptional eye for typography, composition, and layouts. Craft refined micro-interactions, streaming latency feedback, and high-fidelity animations using Adobe After Effects (AE) to make AI interactions feel responsive.

  Utilize your familiarity with design tokens, HTML/CSS fundamentals, and Git Hub pull requests (PRs) to seamlessly bridge the gap between design and production codebases across iOS, Android, and web.
• Mentorship & Design Culture: Actively mentor junior designers, foster a collaborative environment, advocate for design thinking across the firm, and drive the evolution of our scalable design system.

• Experience: 6+ years of professional experience in Product Design, UX/UI Design, or a related role, ideally working within agile cross-functional product teams.
• AI Expertise: Proven track record or strong portfolio demonstrating experience designing for conversational AI agents, managing usability KPIs, and system response patterns.
• Technical Aptitude: Advanced proficiency in Figma. Foundational knowledge of front-end environments (HTML/CSS) and basic Git Hub workflows.
• Systems & Visual Range: A portfolio that showcases a unique balance of rigorous systems thinking alongside high-end visual design, micro-interactions, and motion graphics.
• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or equivalent professional experience.
