Job Description
- Handle 30 inbound calls and 40‑50 outbound calls for order processing.
- Attend walk‑ins and perform basic DME order entry as a small team member.
- Navigate multiple online EMR systems to obtain and review applicable documentation.
- Enter and review all pertinent information in the EMR, including authorizations and expiration dates.
- Communicate with Customer Service and Management regarding trends with insurance companies.
- Verify that insurance carriers are listed in the company database; if not, request the new carrier be entered.
- Talk with patients, process referrals, and answer all calls and emails in a timely manner following company goals.
- Document all call information according to standard operating procedures.
- Accurately process, verify, and/or submit documentation and orders.
- Customer service and call‑center experience.
- Retail and order entry skills.
- Inbound and outbound call handling.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- 1‑2 years of customer service or call‑center experience.
- Prior office‑setting experience.
- Experience with multiple positions or roles.
- Problem‑solving, multitasking, and good time‑management skills.
- Basic computer experience.
Contract to Hire position based in Indianapolis, IN.
Pay and Benefits- Pay range: $19.00‑$21.00 per hour.
