Patient Scheduling Coordinator - Call Center Environment Overview
We are seeking a detail‑oriented and patient‑focused Scheduling Coordinator to join our team. This role is responsible for managing appointment scheduling, ensuring accurate documentation, and delivering high‑quality customer service in a fast‑paced environment. The ideal candidate thrives under pressure, communicates clearly, and demonstrates empathy and professionalism in every interaction.
Key Responsibilities- Schedule patient appointments accurately and efficiently.
- Follow and reinforce all scheduling policies and procedures.
- Communicate essential information for each scheduled appointment to patients and internal teams.
- Audit and/or complete electronic documentation of patient and case information in a timely manner.
- Maintain high-quality standards while meeting deadlines in a high-volume environment.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, peers, and supervisors on a daily basis.
- 1+ years of recent call center experience.
- Strong customer service and data entry skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing workflows or departmental needs.
- High attention to detail, especially with data entry.
- Strong verbal communication skills and ability to think quickly in challenging situations.
- Demonstrates empathy and professionalism.
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred but not required).

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, IN.
Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
