Medical Review Specialist (MRS)
The Medical Review Specialist (MRS) position ensures the accuracy and compliance of our drug testing processes. This role involves handling client inquiries, assisting donors with test results, and maintaining confidentiality while processing donor files. The MRS works closely with clients to provide timely updates, manage incoming communications, and help navigate our web solutions. A thorough understanding of DOT and state regulatory guidelines is essential.
The position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to outstanding customer service. Experience in the drug‑testing industry and call‑center environments is highly preferred.
This is an in‑person position located at our Indianapolis office. Work hours are 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities- Respond to client inquiries and assist donors with drug test results via phone or email.
- Track samples, process donor files, and provide clients with status updates.
- Place and track orders, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
- Assist clients with accessing and navigating our web solution.
- Stay informed of client changes, regulatory updates, and SOP revisions.
- Support training efforts and establish client‑specific protocols.
- Proactively contact clients to ensure program success and satisfaction.
- Verify medication information, including fill and administered dates.
- Enter data and results, maintaining accuracy.
- Understand and adhere to DOT and state regulatory guidelines.
- Communicate turnaround problems to management as they relate to testing, problem resolution, and completion of client requests.
- Assist with special projects.
- Maintain confidentiality of all i3screen and client information.
- Manage incoming mail.
- Demonstrate stellar attendance, dedication, and reliability.
- Availability to work 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM, Monday – Friday.
- Intermediate skill in Google Workspace.
- Intermediate skill in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel & Word).
- Excellent communication skills with staff and customers.
- Ability to multitask effectively and prioritize tasks.
- Strong phone and email etiquette.
- Problem‑solving skills focused on customer satisfaction.
- Approachability and availability for team collaboration.
- Strong listening skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English to the extent necessary for the essential functions of the job.
