Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist chairside during examinations, treatments, and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques
• Prepare treatment rooms by cleaning, disinfecting, and setting up instruments, materials, and equipment according to infection control standards
• Take, process, and mount dental X-rays/radiographs in compliance with safety and state regulations
• Document patient information, treatment notes, and procedures accurately in the practice management/EHR system
• Welcome patients, review health histories, and help ensure they are comfortable and prepared for treatment
• Provide patients with post-operative instructions and basic oral hygiene education to support positive outcomes and patient satisfaction
• Maintain and sterilize instruments and equipment, and monitor inventory of dental supplies and materials
• Support front-desk activities as needed, including scheduling, confirming appointments, and coordinating patient flow
• Collaborate closely with dentists, hygienists, and team members to deliver efficient, high-quality, patient-centered care
• Participate in ongoing training and quality-improvement initiatives that align with Benevis Dental's focus on innovation and community impact
