Job Summary:
Assist the hygienist in delivering excellent patient care. The scope of work encompasses a variety of clinical duties that promote effective and efficient operation of the practice and foster favorable relationships with patients, staff, and dentists of the practice.

Basic Education, Training, and Experience
Required:
Required
- CPR certification, Coronal Polishing(Pedo practices only), radiographs within 6 months of hire date
- X-ray techniques, computer, fax machine, copier
Preferred
- High school diploma
- Basic Dental assisting course completed
- Certain states may require licensing
- Hard tissue charting, review medical and dental history, provide oral hygiene instructions, sterilization of operatory and instruments, take impressions, trim models, and fabricate trays.
- Intraoral camera, caries detection, and open dental software
- Digital radiograph technology and clerical skills
