Residential Design & Sales

Calvin Landscape we are currently seeking an experienced Landscape Design & Sales Professional to join our team in Indianapolis.

The successful candidate will take the lead in assigned projects. You will work closely with residential homeowners to create concept development, design refinement, sales, and project execution. Our typical projects range anywhere between $5K and $1 million. This role requires a balance of creative vision, technical expertise, and leadership skills to oversee complex landscape projects from inception to completion.

• Manage and generate leads (both self-generated and company-provided), maintaining strong organization of prospective clients.
• Consult with clients throughout Central Indiana to assess needs, site conditions, budget, and aesthetic goals.
• Develop comprehensive landscape designs including drainage, lighting, planting, hardscapes, seasonal elements, material selections, and construction documentation.
• Prepare accurate estimates using estimating software and present design concepts to help clients visualize their transformed spaces.
• Oversee project execution from sales through completion, coordinating production managers, installation crews, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure alignment with contracted specifications.
• Monitor project timelines, budgets, deliverables, change orders, and resource allocation while maintaining detailed project records.
• Ensure compliance with zoning regulations, permitting requirements, and industry standards.
• Conduct site visits to oversee implementation, resolve field challenges, and communicate design intent effectively to clients and stakeholders.
• Participate in marketing and business development efforts, including networking and industry events.
• Actively participate in winter snow removal services (mandatory).

• Minimum 5 years of experience selling large residential landscape projects (required)
• Proven experience in landscape design and residential sales
• Strong understanding of:

Working knowledge of:

• Windows operating:
  Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
• Advanced proficiency in CAD software and Sketch Up (mandatory)

• Base salary plus commission ( $65,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year)
