The Architect Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Indianapolis area. This individual oversees architectural projects from concept through construction, managing schedules, budgets, and quality while coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading design development, reviewing drawings and specifications, preparing and managing project documentation, and ensuring code compliance and regulatory approvals. The Architect Project Manager collaborates closely with clients, consultants, and contractors to clarify requirements, resolve design and construction issues, and maintain clear communication.
The role also involves mentoring project team members, supporting business development efforts, and contributing to continuous improvement of project delivery processes.
- Project Management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and oversight of architectural projects.
- Jurisdictional review
- experience to drive timely completion of submittals, approvals, and project milestones.
- Construction oversight
- and quality review capabilities to verify compliance with drawings, specifications, and building codes.
- Logistics Management skills to coordinate project resources, materials, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Professional degree in Architecture or related field; licensure as a Registered Architect (or active pursuit) preferred.
- Proficiency in architectural design and documentation software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, and related tools).
- Strong communication, client-facing, and stakeholder coordination skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Experience managing multiple projects in commercial, community, or multi-tenant sectors is highly beneficial.
