Job Summary
Drafting Technician | Direct Hire
Location: Daleville, IN
Pay Rate: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Responsibilities- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or certification in drafting, engineering, or related field preferred, but equivalent work experience will be considered in place of formal education
- Experience in cabinetry, millwork, woodworking, or a related manufacturing field is preferred and will give a significant advantage
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar drafting software
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and project management tools
- Ability to read and interpret construction and architectural drawings
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Effective communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively
- Create detailed shop drawings and production documentation from architectural plans and project specifications
- Prepare material lists and manufacturing-ready layouts for production
- Review and interpret construction and architectural drawings
- Coordinate with project managers and production staff to resolve design and production questions
- Maintain drawing revisions and project documentation
- Ensure drawings meet company quality standards and customer requirements
