We are seeking a skilled automotive styling candidate with strong Alias digital modeling expertise in both CAS and Class A surfacing to support automotive projects. The candidate will be responsible for translating design intent into high‑quality digital surfaces, ensuring aesthetics and manufacturability.

Experience:

5‑7 years.

• Good at sketching, concept generation, Alias modeling, demonstrated through portfolio.
• Develop high‑quality CAS and Class A surfaces using Autodesk Alias.
• Translate sketches, 2D layouts, and clay scans into accurate digital models.
• Perform surface refinement, continuity checks (G2/G3), and reflection quality analysis.
• Create production‑feasible Class A surfaces.
• Support concept modelling and scan‑to‑surface workflows.
• Collaborate closely with styling designers and engineering teams, delivering CAS and Class A surface models.
• Ensure design intent is preserved while meeting technical constraints.
• Participate in design reviews and provide digital modeling inputs.
• Manage iterations efficiently under tight timelines.

• Strong hands‑on experience in Autodesk Alias surface.
• Expertise in CAS modelling & Class A surfacing.
• Strong understanding of surface continuity (G0/G1/G2/G3).
• Reflection and highlight quality analysis.
• Tooling feasibility and engineering constraints.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Design / Transportation Design (B.Des / M.Des).
• 5‑7 years of experience in automotive or industrial design modeling.
• Prior experience working with OEMs or Tier‑1 suppliers is preferred.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating CAS modeling / Class A surfacing (portfolio is a must along with the resume).
