Overview
Indiana University Health Department of Neurology is seeking a Behavioral Neurologist to join our multi-disciplinary team at the IU Health Neuroscience Center in Indianapolis, Indiana
. This is an opportunity to join a leading clinical and research program within behavioral neurology, aging, Alzheimer's disease and Alzheimer’s related disorders/dementias. You will have the opportunity to engage and collaborate with our leading ADRC and strong neuroimaging program. Our research program is highly integrated with our clinical team. You will be able to utilize the latest tools to diagnose the stages of memory loss and dementia, including neuropsychology, PET imaging, genetic testing, EEG, and cerebrospinal fluid analysis.
Build a successful practice as you participate with colleagues in robust clinical trials across the spectrum of cognitive decline. Strong commitment to teaching medical students, residents, and fellows is expected. The IU Health Neuroscience Center is designated as a Center for Care by the National Parkinson Foundation and a Center of Excellence by the Huntington’s Disease Society of America. IU Health's Neuroscience Center is recognized for advanced neurological medical treatment and surgical therapies across all the major specialties.
Details
- Practice in a large urban academic setting
- Monday-Friday, night and weekend call (rotating)
- Referrals from the largest primary care and specialty care practices in Indiana
- Must be MD or DO or equivalent & certified in Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN)

The IU Health Neuroscience Center combines the best doctors, most advanced treatments and latest research breakthroughs into one convenient facility located in the heart of downtown Indianapolis. The center is home to an innovative research facility led by the IU School of Medicine, enabling patients to have easier, faster access to clinical trials and breakthrough treatments. With neuroscience deemed a top priority of IU School of Medicine research, the research facility received significant NIH grant funding.
The center provides diagnostic imaging and access to clinical trials in a collaborative environment.
