Near Bremen, Indiana | ACGME-Accredited Program We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Program Director to lead an established ACGME-accredited Family Medicine Residency Program located just 50 miles from Chicago in northern Indiana. This is an excellent opportunity for a visionary physician with a passion for teaching, mentorship, and clinical excellence.

Position Overview This leadership role offers a balanced schedule with approximately 50% administrative and 50% clinical responsibilities. The Program Director will be responsible for maintaining the integrity, reputation, and continued accreditation of the program while actively shaping the next generation of family physicians.

Key Responsibilities:

Direct and oversee the Family Medicine Residency Program Ensure compliance with ACGME standards and maintain high-quality didactic and clinical education Lead strategic planning, curriculum development, and program growth Oversee recruitment and selection of six residents annually Mentor, develop, and manage program faculty and clinical preceptors Teach and mentor residents in both clinical and academic settings Maintain an active Family Medicine clinical practice

Qualifications:

Board Certification in Family Medicine Active clinical practice in Family Medicine Minimum of 3 years of experience in academic medicine (Program Director or Core Faculty) Demonstrated leadership in graduate medical education Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Ability to effectively engage with a diverse team of learners and colleagues This opportunity offers an excellent quality of life in a community located just 50 miles from Chicago, 10 miles from Indiana Dunes State Park, and close to the scenic resort areas of Michigan.
