Faculty Position – Clinical Family Medicine – Health System in Indiana
Location:
1040 Wishard Blvd, Dunlap Building, Indianapolis, IN 46202.
The Indiana University School of Medicine’s Department of Family Medicine, in partnership with IU Health Medical Group, is seeking candidates for Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor of Clinical Family Medicine. The position is within the Family Medicine Residency Practice located in central Indianapolis and offers a complete continuum of academic medicine.
Responsibilities and Opportunities- Flexible clinical work between inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Opportunities for clinical excellence and collaboration across one of the largest health systems in the country, with care settings ranging from tertiary/qua ternary to rural health care.
- Teaching and mentoring medical students and residents.
- Working in a cross‑functional, collaborative family practice center.
- Impacting a large, underserved population within the Indianapolis area.
- MD, DO, or equivalent education.
- Board eligible or board certified with the American Board of Family Medicine.
- Ability to obtain Indiana licensure.
- Open to discussion of compensation.
- Faculty team includes 17 family physicians, including 2 other surgical OB faculty.
- Multidisciplinary team with a PharmD, 40+ clinical staff, and social work support.
- Program has 39 family medicine residents, transitional year students, and learners from pharmacy, nursing, and medical assistant programs.
