.
- High‑complexity VA Medical Center with robust resources onsite servicing central Indiana
- Opportunity to expand the Cardiology imaging program, the ability to interpret transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE) and perform transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE) including intraprocedural TEE for structural heart interventions is desired
- Monday‑Friday schedule with light call
- Access to Clinical Pharmacists onsite
- A high‑quality, patient‑focused team including Nurse Practitioners
- Advanced Cardiac center with Cath/Electrophysiology labs, Cardiac Surgery and imaging onsite
- Cardiology fellowship program and teaching service with opportunity for academic appointment
- Located in vibrant and affordable Indianapolis, Indiana
- MD or DO degree
- Completion of ACGME accredited Cardiology fellowship
- BE/BC American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) Cardiovascular Disease
- Current full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or District of Columbia.
Pay: Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, regular salary increases
Paid Time Off: 50-55 days (8‑hour shifts estimated) of paid time off per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year and possible up to 5 day paid absence for CME. Opportunity for up to 12 weeks paid Parental leave.
Retirement: Traditional federal pension (5 years vesting) and federal 401K with up to 5% in contributions by VA
Insurance: Federal health/vision/dental/term life (many federal insurance programs can be carried into retirement)
CME: Possible $1,000 per year reimbursement (must be full‑time with board certification)
