Academic Non Invasive​/General Cardiology

Indiana University Health Medical Group (IUHMG) and the Indiana University School of Medicine (IUSM) Department of Cardiovascular Medicine is recruiting a Non-Invasive/General Cardiologist to join our team at the IU Health Adult Academic Health Center and Eskenazi Health. The Academic Health Center is the tertiary/qua ternary referral center for the statewide IU Health System and a major teaching hospital of the IUSOM, the only allopathic medical school in Indiana.

Eskenazi Hospital is the safety net hospital for Marion County, and also a major teaching hospital for IUSM. All cardiology services at Eskenazi Health are provided by faculty Cardiologists. Our established practice with 40 Physicians and 30 Advanced Practice Providers offers the full range of cardiac services from prevention and population health to implanted heart-assist devices and cardiac transplantation.

With 1,000 beds, IU Health Methodist Hospital is a large tertiary referral center with over 130 ICU beds. It serves as the largest trauma center in Indianapolis, as well as a highly subspecialized center for cardiovascular surgery, thoracic surgery, neurosurgery, lung transplantation, and neurocritical care.

IU Health is building a new downtown hospital and campus, which will consolidate operations of the adjacent IU Health Methodist and University Hospitals. Construction for the new hospital is well underway and set to open in late 2027. It will feature three 16-story towers with 864 beds. IU School of Medicine is also constructing a medical education and research building directly east of the new hospital.
