Step into a compelling academic opportunity at the Indiana University School of Medicine, home to one of the largest genetics departments in the country. The Department of Medical and Molecular Genetics seeks a Clinical Geneticist to join a highly collaborative and growing faculty.

This role offers the opportunity to practice across the full spectrum of clinical genetics within a well-established, multidisciplinary program serving patients across Indiana and surrounding states. With robust institutional support, a strong referral base, and protected academic time, faculty have the ability to shape both their clinical focus and academic trajectory.

Faculty will join a program recognized for its breadth of subspecialty expertise, strong integration with the health system, and commitment to advancing genetics through clinical innovation, education, and collaboration.

• Join a comprehensive academic genetics program with broad subspecialty coverage
• Practice across general and specialty genetics, including cardiogenetics, cancer genetics, metabolic, and neurogenetics
• Work within a large, multidisciplinary team of physicians, genetic counselors, and advanced practice providers
• Flexible academic appointment at the Assistant, Associate, or Professor level
• Balanced academic model with protected time for teaching, research, and scholarship
• "In-house" molecular, cytogenic, and biochemical diagnostic laboratory, including rapid whole genome sequencing
• Opportunities to participate in clinical trials and rare disease research
• Strong statewide referral base with high demand and long patient wait times

The Clinical Geneticist will provide inpatient and outpatient services across Riley Hospital for Children, University Hospital, and Methodist Hospital. This role offers a flexible clinical focus, multidisciplinary collaboration, teaching opportunities, and engagement in academic pursuits within a structured schedule that supports long-term success.
