A nonprofit, thriving healthcare system is seeking a BC/BE Emergency Medicine physician to work in Marion, IN – 60 miles northeast of Indianapolis. Come make a difference within a growing team of providers that focus on enhancing the lives they serve and value learning and growth.

120 years serving the community and is now the largest local employer with 2 different locations around Marion, IN: a 106 bed acute care independent sole community hospital and a large clinic on the Southeast side of Marion. Nonprofit health system named 5-Star Hospital strongly rooted in the community.

• Emergency Medicine opportunity in new building, new ER on Southeast side of Marion.
• Shift hours: 12 hour shifts 7AM – 7PM; 7PM – 7AM, and 12
  
  NOON to 12
  
  MIDNIGHT.
• Annual ER volume: 25,000 visits.
• Staffing mix: 36 hours of MD/DO coverage daily.
• Coverage:
  Single coverage from 3AM to 7AM. Additional coverage with a mixture of mid‑level providers and physicians.
• Full time: 4 days on and 8 days off (1,460 hours per year).
• Treatment Rooms – 7;
  Behavioral Health Rooms – 2;
  Trauma Rooms – 2;
  Observation/Admit – 4.
• Meditech EMR.

• Emergency Medicine MD or DO degree required.
• BC/BE Emergency Medicine.
• Prefer Emergency Medicine trained and Board Certified but will accept FM/IM if ABEM certified or has significant experience working in ER.
• Licensed in Indiana or in process.

Marion, IN is located in Grant County conveniently between Indianapolis and Fort Wayne. Marion is home to two world‑class universities – Indiana Wesleyan University and Taylor University – as well as Ivy Tech Community College. It is known as a family‑oriented county with excellent schools, safe communities, and full of annual festivals/events. Population currently sits at 30,000 residents.
