Clinical responsibilities include diagnosing and treating work-related injuries, performing pre-placement, DOT, public safety, and surveillance physical examinations for private companies and governmental agencies, and evaluating urgent care patients on a walk-in basis.
The position requires DOT certification prior to starting, involves completing all documentation in a timely manner, and includes communicating with employers to provide medical guidance. New clinicians receive one week of orientation alongside a permanent physician before working independently, with assignments typically spanning three-month stretches at the same location.
