Position Overview
Indiana University Health is seeking patient-centered, collaborative, and supportive anesthesiologists to join our growing teams across Indiana, including IU Health Methodist & University Hospitals in Indianapolis and IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie. This role offers an exciting opportunity to practice in both academic and community hospital settings with a strong commitment to clinical excellence, education, and patient care.
Position Highlights- Full-time clinical practice with a mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities
- Case variety may include general, ENT, GYN, neuro, thoracic, cardiovascular, obstetric, endoscopy, bronchoscopy, and more
- Involvement in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows, with potential for faculty appointment through the IU School of Medicine
- Flexible scheduling to support faculty initiatives, research, and quality projects
- Call responsibilities required (varies by site)
- Work alongside a collegial, multidisciplinary team of anesthesiologists and anesthetists
- Visa sponsorship (H-1B) available
- Residency training in anesthesiology (required)
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in anesthesiology (required)
- Eligible for or currently holds an Indiana medical license (required)
- Subspecialty training or interest in obstetric, neuro, or cardiovascular anesthesia preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills valued
- Open to both experienced providers and new graduates
