Admissions Representative
Hiring:
Aviation Institute of Maintenance (AIM) located at 7251 W McCarty St, Indianapolis, IN 46241. Closing date Feb 18, 2026.
The AIM, established in 1969, is a premier institution dedicated to advancing aviation maintenance education and training. With 15 campuses nationwide, AIM accounts for 20% of all students attending FAA‑certified Airframe & Powerplant schools and graduates nearly one in four certified aircraft technicians annually.
We are seeking a results‑driven, student‑focused Admissions Representative to join our dynamic education team. The role focuses on guiding prospective students toward informed, life‑changing academic decisions while meeting KPI metrics such as outreach volume, contact‑to‑appointment conversion, application completion, and enrollment success.
Key Duties- Evaluate prospective students for enrollment eligibility and program fit.
- Conduct outreach through phone calls, emails, and in‑person or virtual meetings to support applicants through each step of the admissions process.
- Achieve and maintain enrollment goals by leading through personal performance.
- Guide students from initial inquiry to enrollment, including appointment setting, interviews, application assistance, and follow‑up.
- Track student application status and ensure completion of required documentation.
- Assist with recruitment events such as open houses and career fairs.
- Education:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Associates’ or higher degree preferred.
- Experience:
- Proven experience in sales or customer service with a track record of meeting or exceeding KPIs such as conversion rates, outreach goals, and closing ratios.
- One or more years of admissions experience in a proprietary (for‑profit) or post‑secondary educational setting preferred.
- Skill set:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to connect with diverse audiences.
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, willing to learn new systems.
- A positive, team‑oriented approach and willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed.
- Monday‑Thursday: two days from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM and two days from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
- Fridays: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Saturdays: one Saturday per month, unless otherwise specified or based on organizational needs.
Compensation: $23 – $29 per hour, based on experience, qualifications, and other relevant factors.
