We are seeking a dedicated and passionate High School Teacher to join our educational team. The Secondary Business Teacher will develop and deliver curriculum on business fundamentals and advanced concepts, preparing students for business careers. They will also create lesson plans, assess student performance, and provide guidance on academic and career matters, and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for students.
This role requires effective communication skills, creativity in lesson planning, and the ability to engage students in their academic journey. Experience in public schools is highly desirable.
Business Teacher's duties and responsibilities include:
* Designing and implementing a curriculum that covers various aspects of business such as economics, marketing, human resources, and entrepreneurship
* Delivering lectures, facilitating discussions, and leading classroom activities to engage students in learning about business
* Preparing, administering, and grading assignments and exams to evaluate students' progress
* Providing personalized attention to students, addressing their questions and concerns
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date student records including grades, attendance, and behavior
* Adapting teaching methods and materials to meet students' varying needs and interests
* Keeping abreast with developments in the business world and updating course content accordingly
* Guiding and counseling students on their career paths in the business
* Encouraging and supporting students in their research and practical projects
* Collaborating with colleagues to enhance teaching methods and curriculum
* Participating in school events, meetings, and parent-teacher conferences
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Business Education.
* Experience as a Business Teacher or similar role.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong knowledge of business concepts and principles.
* Ability to engage and motivate students.
* Experience with various teaching methods and the ability to differentiate instruction.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* Proficiency with educational technology.
