Location: Notre Dame
Camp Counselors work with the Pre-College Programs Departments in supervising campers enrolled in our residential summer camp programs. The successful counselor will be compassionate, vigilant, helpful and inspirational to the students attending camps.
Position Duties:
* Responsible each week for the supervision and safety of 10 students, ages 14-18 in the residence hall, on field trips, and at all day/evening activities.
* Responsible for assisting director/instructors with classes and organized activities,
* Responsible for assisting at registration, orientation and departure each week.
* Required attendance at a wrap-up session at the end of the program
* Required to reside and stay on campus during camp session.
Minimum Qualifications:
Saint Mary's students with a curricular and/or extracurricular interest in democratic process and dialogue, change-making work, and/or civic and community engagement.
