Applied Skills Instructional Assistant, Wayne Center Elementary, 2 Vacancies.

Position Type:
Support Staff / Special Education Assistant.

Schedule:

7 hours per day, Monday – Friday when school is in session.

Compensation: $17.98 per hour, starting wage.

Start date:

August 2026.

• Attend all required training sessions and apply training within the classroom.
• Perform other duties as assigned by building administrator.
• Work with students one‑on‑one, in small groups, large groups, or other.
• Assist with student documentation.
• Supervise students in all assigned areas.
• Communicate effectively and regularly with students and staff.
• Participate in team planning sessions.
• Maintain confidentiality of all student information.
• Follow East Noble policies and procedures.
• Work cooperatively with teacher(s) and other staff.

• Minimum of 60 college credits.
• Associate's Degree.
• Paraprofessional certification.
• Or be willing to take and pass the Paraprofessional certification test.
