Department/Program Chair

• Facilitate student learning by delivering assigned classes in accordance with College policy and course objectives.
• Use technology to enhance instructional methods.
• Modify lesson plans, assignments, tests, and materials as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate student records, grades, and other requirements.
• Engage with students proactively and regularly to positively impact learning.
• Develop and implement teaching strategies focused on student engagement.
• Interact professionally with students and colleagues, complying with College policies.
• Maintain a safe, quality educational environment that reflects a diverse student body and promotes respect and value.

• Earned master’s or higher degree in physics from a regionally accredited institution; or Earned master’s or higher degree from a regionally accredited institution with at least 18 graduate semester credit hours in physics‑related courses.
• Include a cover letter and unofficial transcript with application.
