All Substitute Teachers must meet the following criteria:

A. Be at least 18 years of age;
B. Hold a high school diploma;
C. Possess an Indiana Substitute Teaching Permit or Indiana Educator License issued by Indiana's Office of Educator Licensing and Development (Create account and apply for a Substitute Teaching Permit at ).

Prior to being considered for employment, prospective Substitute Teachers must submit all the following items to:

E) Completed Indiana Form WH-4 found at

F) Completed Authorization, Waiver and Release form found at

G) Completed Request for Background Information
* Please complete Department of Child Services portion of background check, you will receive 2 emails from "Kid Tracks" to complete the DCS portion.

H) Valid and printed Indiana Substitute Teaching Permit or Indiana Educator License (see #1.C above)

I) Completed Direct Deposit form turned in person to Supt Office

Substitute teaching applicants hired by Paoli Community School Corporation will have their names placed on the substitute teacher call list. Due to the various needs within the schools each day, the frequency with which substitute teachers will be called to work may not be consistent.

Pay scale for substitute teachers: $85 per day; or, $42.50 per half day
