About Tindley Summit Academy

Tindley Summit is an elementary school designed to spark high levels of academic achievement in children early in their academic careers. Our school fills a critical need for strong accelerated education and community development in an urban environment.

The school is looking for a qualified instructional assistant to support classroom instruction for elementary‑age students in a school‑wide program.

• All instructional paras in a School‑Wide Program must be HQ, regardless of funding source.
• Evidence of HQ status must be kept in the employee’s file.
• Education and qualifications:
  Secondary school diploma and at least 2 years of college coursework, or passing score of 460 or higher on the Para Pro Exam.
• Licensed at the state of Indiana (see ).

Under the direction of our Curriculum Team, teachers learn professionally and educationally acceptable methods, strategies and techniques to manage their classrooms and develop the skills that are associated with highly effective teachers. Administrators are involved in our Annual Institute Programs as well as regular professional development opportunities.
