Northeastern Wayne School Corporation is seeking a Choir and Band Director.

Start Date:

June 1, 2026;
Full Time Teaching beginning August, 2026

Pay dependent upon experience, degree, and salary schedule stated in Master Contract.

This position would begin with Assistant Summer Band Director instruction alongside the Band Director for the Marching Knights in June 2026.

Classroom instruction for music education, choir, etc. will begin with the first day of school in August 2026.

• Current Indiana teaching license in subject area (or ability to obtain licensure)

• Strong background in content area and instruction
• Knowledge of best practices to meet the individual needs of students at a variety of skill levels
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team of educators
• Ability to incorporate technology effectively to support learning and instruction
• Other characteristics include: highly organized, strong communication skills, self-motivated
