Role SummaryThe Professional Math Tutor is a part-time position that tutors students of various skill levels of Math one-on-one using a variety of instructional methods tailored to an immersive environment.
Responsibilities- Tutor American Sign Language students in Math 2-3 hours per week.
- Engage and interact with students of various skill levels of Math using a variety of instructional methods tailored to an immersive environment.
- Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages active engagement and participation.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance and time spent tutoring students.
- Bachelor's degree in Math or Math-related field
- Ability to maintain confidences regarding students’ personal information and learning
- Master’s Degree in Mathematics or Math-related field
- ASL Fluency
