St. Luke Catholic School in Indianapolis, Indiana is a Kindergarten through 8th grade elementary school seeking a dynamic, faith-filled, and innovative STEM Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering an engaging, hands‑on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) program for students in kindergarten through 8th grade. This teacher will create a structured, supportive, and dynamic learning environment that challenges all learners to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive STEM curriculum aligned with state standards and school goals
- Plan and deliver engaging, age‑appropriate lessons for students in grades K–8
- Incorporate technology, engineering design, coding, and problem‑based learning into instruction
- Integrate STEM concepts across subject areas and collaborate with classroom teachers
- Promote digital citizenship and responsible use of technology
- Participate in school events, faculty meetings, and professional development opportunities
- Maintain a positive, respectful, and faith‑centered classroom environment
- Bachelor's degree in Education, STEM field, or related area
- Valid teaching license (or ability to obtain licensure)
- Experience teaching elementary and/or middle school students preferred
- Strong background in technology integration, coding, engineering, or robotics preferred
- Knowledge of STEM instructional best practices and project‑based learning
